We sell a family office database, so read this pricing guide knowing that. We have kept it factual: every price below is either published by the provider on its own site (linked, as of July 2026) or clearly labeled as a third-party estimate. Prices change often in this market, so treat this as a map and confirm current numbers on each provider's site.
The market has three price tiers
Tier 1: Enterprise platforms (five to six figures per year, quoted by sales). Preqin (part of BlackRock), PitchBook (owned by Morningstar), and With Intelligence (owned by S&P Global) publish no pricing; contracts are negotiated annually. As a labeled estimate for one of them: Vendr, a SaaS purchasing platform, estimates the median Preqin buyer pays about $49,000 per year, with typical contracts between roughly $28,000 and $77,000 (Vendr, as of July 2026; actual pricing is quoted by the vendor and varies). What the money buys at this tier is much more than contacts: benchmarks, mandates, research, and coverage of the whole institutional universe.
Tier 2: Fundraising data platforms (five figures per year). Dakota publishes its pricing plainly on its own site: $16,500 per year for the first user and $1,000 per year for each additional user, per its pricing guide as of July 2026. Altss publishes seat pricing in its FAQ: $10,000 to $15,000 per seat per year depending on tier and dataset, billed annually, as of July 2026. FINTRX publishes no pricing as of July 2026; access is quoted through its sales team. These platforms are built for teams that fundraise continuously and want daily-updated data inside a CRM.
Tier 3: One-time lists and data memberships (two hundred to a few thousand dollars). This is our tier. Published pricing as of July 2026: Family Office Club (familyoffices.com) prices its databases at $495 to $997 for the first month plus $79 per month thereafter, with Excel export available as a PRO upgrade described on familyoffices.com/data as an additional $995 (their sister site lists lower PRO pricing on some tiers). familyofficehub.io sells one-time Excel lists from roughly $200 to $4,999.99 for its global 3,000-office list, with 12 months of updates included; in line with its GDPR policy, lists carry company contact details and LinkedIn pages rather than personal emails. Family Office Access sells annual subscriptions published at $2,495 to $3,995 per year. Active Family Offices (us) sells one-time Excel databases: regional lists from $100, the Full USA Database at $1,800, and the Full Worldwide Database at $3,000, each including the Excel file and a published 95% accuracy guarantee.

How to compare costs fairly
Compare on the total cost of your actual campaign, with assumptions stated. A one-year, one-seat comparison: a Tier 2 platform at Dakota's published $16,500 covers the full allocator universe with daily updates, which is the right buy if you use that breadth. A one-time file at our $1,800 covers family offices only, once, which is the right buy if that is your whole channel. Neither number is "better"; they price different jobs. Two things to check on any provider before buying, at any tier: what exporting the data costs (it is included with some products and an upgrade on others, per each provider's published terms), and whether the price recurs.
The bottom line for a capital raiser choosing now
If you fundraise continuously across channels, a platform subscription earns its annual price. If your job is a defined family office campaign, a one-time file is the economical buy: our Full USA Database is $1,800 once, Excel included, human-reviewed, with the guarantee terms on the page. The free sample costs nothing and shows you exactly what you would be buying. Verification standards are on our FAQ page.
