Altss vs FINTRX for Family Office Data (2026)

Subscribe to continue reading

Altss publishes its prices and FINTRX quotes through sales. As of November 2026, Altss lists family office plans at $5,000 per year (Europe), $8,000 per year (North America) and $15,000 per year (global), billed annually with no monthly option. We could not find published FINTRX prices; Dakota, a FINTRX competitor, estimates $5,000 to $20,000 per year. For a single campaign there is a third option: the Active Family Offices Full USA Database is a one-time $2,500 Excel file.

Full disclosure: we sell a family office database, so we compete with both Altss and FINTRX for some buyers. Every competitor fact below comes from their own pages, read on 1 November 2026.

What Altss publishes about pricing

The Altss pricing page lists fixed annual prices in US dollars. As of November 2026, its Intelligence plans are:

  • Europe Family Offices: $5,000 per year, one named user (regional plans do not offer additional users).
  • North America Family Offices: $8,000 per year, one named user, US and Canada family offices.
  • Global Family Offices: $15,000 per year, one named user included.
  • Global Investors: $18,000 per year, family offices plus institutional allocators.
  • Full Market: $25,000 per year, adding companies, ownership and transactions.

Altss Fundraising OS, which includes matching Intelligence coverage, is listed at $25,000, $35,000 or $45,000 per year. On global plans and Fundraising OS, additional named users cost $5,000 per year each. The page states that monthly billing is not offered, that direct checkout prepays a 12-month term with no automatic renewal, and that there is no free trial.

Altss describes itself as a UI-only platform. Its pricing page states there is no CSV export or bulk download of Altss content, no public raw-data API and no standard external CRM sync, and its FINTRX comparison page calls this "a deliberate product decision." The Altss homepage shows 9,000+ family offices, a platform-wide figure.

What FINTRX publishes about pricing

As of November 2026, we could not find published prices on the FINTRX website, and fintrx.com/pricing did not load when we checked. Its family office data page invites visitors to request a trial, and pricing is quoted by its sales team.

Dakota, which competes with FINTRX, wrote in a November 2025 guide that FINTRX does not publish pricing and that estimated costs range between $5,000 and $20,000 per year. Treat that as a third-party estimate. Actual pricing is quoted by FINTRX and varies. Our FINTRX pricing page covers the estimates in more detail, and What does FINTRX do? explains the product.

The FINTRX family office data page describes 4,600+ single and multi-family offices, 30K+ verified contacts and 42K+ tracked transactions, alongside 46,000+ RIA and broker-dealer firms.

What Altss does well

Altss publishes its prices, which helps any buyer building a budget. Its pages describe AI-assisted research, a native investor CRM, AI-assisted outreach, meeting intelligence and events intelligence in one workspace. For a team that wants to research and run its fundraising inside one platform, that design is coherent: the platform is the product.

What FINTRX does well

FINTRX describes data updated daily, combining AI automation with human research review, and contact records that move with people when they change firms. It lists native sync with Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365 and DealCloud, a custom API feed, a Snowflake data share and AI tool access through MCP. For a placement team that prospects family offices and the wider wealth channel all year, that breadth and integration are what the subscription pays for.

The third option: a one-time family office file

Both platforms are annual subscriptions built for continuous prospecting. A founder raising one round, a sponsor raising equity for one project, or a fund manager running a defined LP campaign needs an accurate family office list once, in a format they can load into their own CRM or email tool.

Active Family Offices sells that format. You pay once, download the current version as an Excel file you keep, and the whole team can use it. Each family office is reviewed and verified by a team of humans, and every listing has a verified website or LinkedIn company page. Columns include investment domains, office type, AUM with source where disclosed, deal submission channel, and up to three top decision-makers per office. For the USA, that includes personal LinkedIn profiles and verified personal work emails. For Europe, decision-makers are listed by name and position with company contact details, and the file is GDPR compliant. The product page publishes a 95% accuracy guarantee with a money-back remedy.

The Altss pricing page states there is no CSV export or bulk download of Altss content, and Altss describes this as a deliberate product decision. The bottom line for a capital raiser choosing now
